Our accessibility commitment

The standard we target

ClearLeaf aims to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA across both this website and the app. Cutting back on cannabis is hard enough; the tools for it should not add friction for anyone using a screen reader, keyboard, switch device, larger text, or high-contrast settings.

What's in place

• Semantic HTML structure with labelled landmarks and a logical heading order.
• Full keyboard operability, with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element.
• Text and interface colours checked for AA contrast in both light and dark themes.
• Light and dark themes that follow your device setting, with no forced mode.
• Motion kept minimal, and animation disabled automatically when your device requests reduced motion.
• Text that reflows and stays readable when zoomed or when the system font size is increased.
• Images that convey information carry descriptive alternative text; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.

Known gaps

ClearLeaf is built and maintained by one person, and some areas are still being improved — particularly full screen-reader labelling of the app's charts and some third-party embedded badges on this site. These are being worked through, and reports help prioritise them.

Reporting a problem

If any part of ClearLeaf is difficult or impossible to use with your assistive technology, please tell us — it's treated as a bug, not a feature request. Email support@clearleaf.us with the page or screen, your device and assistive technology, and what went wrong. We aim to respond within a few business days.
